Water-way to dine

Pepe Garden Furniture has supplied British Waterways (BW) with a range of specialist dining tables for use at three of its public leisure sites across England.

BW, the body responsible for maintaining 2,000 miles of the UK's inland waterway network, has ordered a number of the Amelia and Margot Dining Table and Parasol sets from Pepe Garden Furniture. To be ready for the Spring this year, they will be used at BW's sites at Hatton Locks, Fradley Junction and Devizes.

The Margot table comes in both 127cm and 156cm diameters, the smaller one coming with four of Pepe's Elli Chairs - recently awarded an 'ergonomics excellence' accreditation from the Furniture Industry Research Association - and the larger one capable of accommodating up to six.

The Amelia table is available in widths of 145cm and 207cm x 100cm, the 145cm model taking four to six Elli Chairs and the 207cm having room for six to eight.

A matching 3m parasol is available with both sets.

New for 2006 and aimed at companies in the leisure and amenities sectors with a requirement to comply with the DDA legislation for wheelchair access is the Pentti Picnic Bench.

This accommodates eight adults on easy-access bench seats, with an additional two spaces for wheelchair users. Dimensions are 71cm to the underside of the bench and a 140cm table top.
